Finally Toyota launched the newest Corolla generation in the USA went through the site 2007 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show, on Thursday (1/11).

As one of the biggest markets, Toyota USA was considered to be slow launched the model was most quick-selling in this world. Toyota the Motor Corp. introduced the tenth generation of Corolla this the first time in Japan in October 2006 and the European market in December 2006 in the Helsinki Motor Show.

Toyota marketed Toyota in the USA since 1968 or two years after Corolla first was launched in Japan. For four decades more than 30 million were sold all over the world. In the USA, Corolla was present with five trim/the variant of the completeness. Beginning with Standard, LE, XLE, S that sporty and XRS to peformance-car mania .

The Standard variant, LE and XLE got the new machine 1.8 litre DOHC the four cylinder of Dual VVT-i that produce 132hp/6000rm and 128lb-ft torsion in 4400rpm. The transmission system 5MT was the standard for the machine 1.8 litre and 4-speed Automatic Electronically Controlled Transmission (ECT) also was available.

The machine 2.4 litre that was designed repeated was available to trim XRS that Produced 158hp/6000rpm and 162lb-ft/4000rpm. This machine was installed with 5-Mt and 5AT so optional.

Trim S and XRS were distinguished through spoiler front, fog lamp, rear spoiler upper and low, also engine undercover to improve the air current was supervised by the car. Safety feature covered dual airbag in front, side airbag in the two seats front and two-row side curtain airbags, all the standards in all trim. The front seat was equipped with active headrest also the standard. The other standard feature was ABS. Vehicle Stability Control and Traction Control also was available.

In the same Toyota site also launched the third generation Corolla Matrix that was the combination from SUV unified, hatchback and the sedan. This model used the machine 1.8 litre four cylinders 132hp/6000rpm and 128lb-ft/4400rpm with technology of Dual VVT-i. The other variant used the machine 2.4 litre four cylinders of VVT-i that kept 158 hp/6000 rpm and 162lb-ft/4000 rpm.

Matrix was available in three stages that is Standard, S and XRS.
